The 980 shares its general construction and design with the 800-model. However, the 980 has a hand-hammered gold brass bell and leadpipe, in combination with hand-lapped tapered rotors and slides in nickel silver casing - thus combining the unique qualities of both gold brass and nickel brass in one balanced horn design. The instrument comes with an adjustable hook, and engraved valve caps. This horn is perfect for advanced and ambitious music students.
